Statistics: Russia’s inflation at 0.2% December 15–Monday

MOSCOW, Dec 23 (PRIME) -- Russia’s consumer price inflation remained at 0.2% from December 15 through Monday and reached 4.7% since January 1, the Federal State Statistics Service said on Wednesday.

The egg prices increased by 3.2% in the period, while the sunflower oil prices fell by 1% and sugar by 3.2%

The fruit and vegetable prices increased by 2.9% on average. The cucumber prices rose 10%, and tomato prices by 6.4%.

Automobile gasoline prices remained flat, diesel fuel ones rose 0.1%.
